LuminAid A modern tabletop solar light for the home. Semi-translucent TPE gives this compact solar powered LED lamp a warm glow. Magnetic elements are incorporated into the base and top of the lamp allowing for attachment to outdoor metal surfaces as well as a multitude of enjoyable and illuminating stacking configurations.  For inspiration I was drawn to the simplicity of geometric shapes and how their facets capture and transmit light. The polyhedron forms balance themselves as a stand alone object and yet relate to one another as a family of products through common planes and intersections.
