I assisted the startup company Moxxly in creating their Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) plan.
Moxxly's new hands-free breast pump introduced a slim profile system targeted towards the upscale millennial market.
I worked with the executive team to identify strategic design opportunities to enhance the product brand and elevate the design by introducing a sophisticated jewel-like color palette. Additionally, we explored manufacturing opportunities that allowed for a material break and the addition of a sophisticated color band. I also recommended the opportunity to brand the FDA-approved plastic bottle with a logo debossing as well as final texture and finish recommendations for multiple complex materials and parts.
